No, not at all. Our campouts are for everyone – especially those who want to come out and meet/make new friends. We want to encourage all to come out and enjoy the outdoors and are looking to have a great turnout filled with all sorts of outdoor enthusiasts.
Yes, of course! This is a great chance to experience Big Bear with a fun group. Big Bear campsites fill up and get reserved quickly making planning a trip difficult – or expensive if you go the AirBnB route. We want to give people an alternative that is family-friendly and affordable. That being said, this trip will be a little more “difficult” for some due to the fact the restrooms are not nearby, and it does tend to get cold at night in the mountains – but we don’t think this should keep anyone from coming.
Historical weather for Big Bear in July is generally on the warmer side of temps with highs in the mid 80’s and overnight lows in the high 50’s. Layers, blankets and sleeping bags are encouraged. As always, reach out with questions, we are here to advise and make this a comfortable, enjoyable, and learning camping experience.
